Give Back To Haiti THE EDUCATION PROJECT

“Simply destroying a country’s educational system will do the job of destroying the country.”

Economic progress and poverty reduction depend on education. Give to Haiti envisions education to be more than a means of earning money; we want it to be a means of development and advancement in society for the greater good. We strive to provide children with outstanding leadership, technical assistance, and financial support to increase educational opportunities and academic success. Our initiative improves the community’s structural foundations and eliminates educational disparities, resulting in a positive learning environment with long-term benefits. We provide educational opportunities to children and adults and improve their living conditions by instilling a sense of purpose, hope, pride, and dignity. We impact the community by addressing limited resources, achievement, and opportunity gaps, developing a workforce-ready society, and reducing migration issues.

Sadly, many problems prevent Haiti’s children and young adults from receiving a proper education. The 2010 earthquake worsened Haiti’s severe educational system. Give to Haiti distributes school supplies to families with limited resources. We kept the doors of several schools about to close by providing operating funds. Give To Haiti wants to tackle the educational issues through our education project.

  1. Build schools with the necessary resources to give adults and children a basic education.
  2. Install access-granting electrical infrastructure using renewable solar energy.
  3. Providing computer laboratories for kids to learn in an improved and modern environment.
  4. Hiring experienced educators and administrators will enhance the educational outcomes for kids.

Mediocrity is not an option!

The annual expense of sending a child to school is roughly $600. The average family of six makes less than $500 each year, though. An illiterate person lacks the fundamental abilities that a quality education may provide and is frequently doomed to a life of misery, illness, and social marginalization. The good news is education defeats poverty. Sponsoring a child involves investing in their future by ensuring that they have the opportunity to live a healthy, productive, and secure childhood. In addition to living longer, healthier, and more successful lives, children who attend school also become more conscious of their own potential and acquire the life skills needed to succeed in society. It’s possible that helping a child might change you as well.

Our Future Project

Building a University in Arcahaie, Haiti, to enable 8,500 high school students who graduate each year to further their education. Many graduates cannot attend colleges & Universities because colleges and universities are too far away. With the launch of this university, 42,500 persons who graduated from high school five years ago will continue their education and attain their full potential. Give to Haiti believes that collaborating with the Haitian people on the next generation’s education is the most effective and efficient way of achieving self-sufficiency and economic growth in Haiti.

This University Network Plan will be reproduced to establish a University Network in the country’s rural areas. This is a $10 million Model Campus project. Currently, this model is being built in Arcahaie, which is about 19 miles outside of Port-au-Prince.

There are numerous methods to give:
